About Me

I have a very silly sense of humour and also a real passion for animals and the ‘great outdoors’. My first pony was called ‘Seigfreid’ and he allowed me to spend hours on the farm. I was just 4 years old and I am happy to tell you that today I still enjoy horse riding, walking and sketching outdoors.

I enjoyed artwork from a very young age and my mother has always been a great inspiration. I was never good at netball or hockey…much happier with my pencils and paper.

I grew up reading Beatrix Potter, Brambley Hedge & Richard Scarry books…and of course ALL the Roald Dahl & Quentin Blake books. Other illustrators who inspire me include Tony Ross, Ross Collins and Tove Jansson. Amazing, exciting artwork that really entertains me…I could go on and on but I’ll stop here!

For my illustrations I usually use pencils, watercolours and/or fine liner pens – in no particular order – on smooth heavy cartridge paper.
